As a Solutions Architect within AWS, you will help shape and execute the strategy to build mindshare and drive broad adoption of Amazon's services — including Amazon Bedrock, Amazon Quick, Kiro, Amazon SageMaker, Amazon DynamoDB, Amazon S3, Amazon EC2, and Amazon SQS — tailoring solutions to each customer's environment across strategic Retail and CPG accounts in Mexico. You will partner with some of the industry's most recognized brands to modernize their operations, unlock data-driven decision-making, and accelerate their adoption of generative AI and cloud-native architectures.
Key job responsibilities
Your broad responsibilities will include owning the technical engagement and the ultimate success of specific implementation projects, and developing deep expertise in AWS technologies along with broad know-how of how applications and services are built on the AWS platform. You will work hands-on alongside customers to co-create solutions and write production-ready code, using AI-powered development tools (such as Amazon Quick and Kiro) to accelerate prototyping, modernize workloads, and turn ideas into working software faster.
The ideal candidate will possess customer-facing skills that will allow them to represent Amazon well within a customer's environment and drive discussions with senior personnel within the company, as well as a technical background that enables them to easily interact and give guidance with software developers and architects. They should also have a demonstrated ability to think structured about business, product, and technical challenges.
The AWS SA team provides a ramp-up program that includes self-paced learning, hands-on projects, job shadowing opportunities, and a peer-reviewed opportunity to demonstrate your knowledge.

Basic Qualifications
- 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
- 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience
- Knowledge of cloud architecture
- Knowledge of software development tools and methodologies
- Experience working with Data & AI related technologies, including, but not limited to, AI/ML, GenAI, Analytics, Database, and/or Storage
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience
- Experience working with end user or developer communities
- Experience in SAP S/4HANA, SAP Cloud Platform, SAP Cloud ERP and Cloud ERP Private
