Join the Simplot Team
Looking for a hands-on role where no two days are the same? At Simplot, you'll play an essential role supporting local growers through safe product delivery, facility operations, and agronomic services. This position combines CDL driving, equipment operation, warehouse responsibilities, and customer support, making it a great fit for individuals who enjoy variety, independence, and working in agriculture.
As a key member of our team, you'll help ensure customers receive the products they need safely, accurately, and on time while contributing to the success of agricultural operations across the region.
What You'll Do
Product Delivery & Customer Service
- Safely transport fertilizer, crop protection products, and other agricultural inputs to customer locations.
- Represent Simplot professionally while building positive relationships with growers and customers.
- Ensure timely, accurate deliveries while maintaining all DOT and safety requirements.
Agronomy Operations
- Blend fertilizer products according to specifications and quality standards.
- Assist with receiving, unloading, handling, and storing inventory.
- Support seasonal operational activities to help meet customer needs.
Facility & Equipment Support
- Perform routine maintenance and housekeeping of equipment, facilities, warehouse, and yard areas.
- Help maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.
- Assist with special projects and operational improvements as needed.
Safety & Compliance
- Follow all DOT, OSHA, HazMat, and company safety requirements.
- Conduct daily vehicle and equipment inspections.
- Promote a strong culture of safety for employees, customers, and communities.
Typical Education
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
What We're Looking For
Preferred Qualifications
- One or more years of experience in agricultural operations, transportation, equipment operation, warehouse, or related industries.
- Familiarity with farm equipment, agricultural practices, and rural road systems.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Basic math, inventory, and record-keeping skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Ability to obtain or possess:
HazMat Endorsement
- Tanker Endorsement
- Doubles/Triples Endorsement
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to work seasonal agriculture hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require
