Join our skilled Sales Team in a Retail Counter Sales role. We’re looking for an individual who is energetic and personable, in addition to being knowledgeable about automotive parts.
Applicants must meet all qualifications below:
- Be an automotive enthusiast with experience in sales or retail and strong hands-on mechanical experience/knowledge of automotive parts;
- Have an intermediate level of computer experience;
- Be comfortable and excited about interacting with customers.
- Desire and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrate professional communication, initiative and a desire to expand skills.
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Assist and sell to prospective customers and explain type of products offered.
- Estimate quantity of merchandise needed. Demonstrate use of merchandise when possible.
- Research products available for purchase based upon the customers' needs.
- Arrange store displays and restock products when necessary.
This position requires standing during entire shift as well as bending, squatting, kneeling, and twisting.
Our store is open 7 days/week, and the work shift will vary. A successful applicant must be able to work full-time and have a flexible schedule, including the ability to work some evenings (until 8:30pm), some mornings (starting at 8:45am), and at least two weekend days between Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Shift flexibility and occasional overtime are required.
The starting rate is $16.50/hour base plus commissions (paid weekly) with opportunities for performance-based promotions and pay increases - and an amazing employee discount!
