Join the Global LT community and help provide language lessons to business professionals and their families worldwide. We are hiring an English Language Teacher to provide in-person lessons to our client.
Job Information: 202035 - Individual class for an adult
For the teenager
- Availability: Weekdays 5-6pm (preferably Thursdays and Fridays when she will be working from home) - From Monday to Wednesday she will be working from the office from 8 am to 4pm (She would like to have hybrid lessons- meaning having a few virtual lessons from time to time)
- Preferred start date: ASAP
- Lesson Frequency: 2x a week
- Lesson Duration: 1h
- Lesson Location: Close to Thai Paradise- 137 W Market St, Indianapolis, IN 46204, Estados Unidos
- Current target language level: High intermediate
- Language spoken at home: Mandarin
- Student’s language needs and goals: She would like to enhance her presentation skills, strengthen her day-to-day communication, and feel more comfortable and confident when speaking.
Responsibilities
• Design structured business-focused English lessons
• Focus on vocabulary building, pronunciation, and accent improvement
• Incorporate presentation skills and professional communication practice
• Introduce cultural insights relevant to professional environments
• Adapt lessons to the student’s interests and business goals
Qualifications
• To have a native or near-native proficiency in English
• To have a degree in education, TESOL, linguistics, or a related field
• To have a minimum of 2 years’ experience teaching ESL
