Founded in 1884, The Hong Kong Jockey Club (“the Club”) is a world-class racing club that acts continuously for the betterment of our society. The Club has a unique integrated business model, comprising racing and racecourse entertainment, a membership club, responsible sports wagering and lottery, and charities and community contribution. Through this model, the Club generates economic and social value for the community and supports the HKSAR Government in combatting illegal gambling.
The Department
Our Treasury Department is responsible for the Club's comprehensive treasury functions, encompassing treasury operations, payment settlements and cash & liquidity management, including money market dealing and trading. In addition to these core duties, we are committed to driving process improvements through AI, data analytics and innovation. To support the Club’s expanding activities and departmental strategic transformation, we are now seeking talented candidates to join our team. Successful candidates will play a key role in delivering critical projects while supporting day-to-day treasury operations.
The Job
- Support treasury-related projects through stakeholder communication and coordination, business analysis, requirements gathering, workflow design and project implementation
- Analyse business processes and datasets to identify opportunities for process enhancement, automation and operational efficiency within Treasury
- Assist in the design and development of treasury data management and reporting initiatives, including data visualisation and dashboard projects
- Execute and maintain automation solutions using tools such as VBA, SQL, Python, Power BI, Tableau and UiPath
- Engage in the Treasury System regular updates and maintenance to ensure system stability and access to the latest features
- Perform day-to-day Treasury activities accurately and diligently
- Complete ad-hoc analytical and project-based tasks as directed by supervisors
- Handle cross border remittance/ capital injection transactions
- Prepare data analytics projects for reporting in PRC subsidiaries
About You
- A degree or recognised qualifications in Finance, Business Analytics, Business Administration, FinTech, Computer Science or related disciplines
- 2-5 year(s)’ relevant working experience is preferred
- Exposure to advanced Excel, VBA, Python, Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tools, Power Automate and AI tools is preferred
- Knowledge in banking, finance or treasury is also an advantage
