Team Introduction

You will join the Europe & International (E&I) Commercial Transformation Team, a high-impact group that partners with regional leaders to accelerate commercial performance. Working in close collaboration with markets across E&I, the team designs and delivers flagship transformation projects that improve how we plan, execute and measure commercial activity.

Position Summary

The Commercial Operations Manager, Europe & International is a key member of the Commercial Transformation Team. You will provide operational and project management support for LT-selected flagship commercial transformation projects across the region. You will coordinate activity and evidence to support market adoption, sustainable change and measurable commercial impact.

Responsibilities

- Ensure decisions and requests – including changes to scope or priorities – are routed to the right owners and governance forums, with clear timelines.
- Maintain accurate, accessible and auditable records of project scope, approvals and changes. Collate evidence of market adoption and commercial benefits from project and market owners.
- Provide consolidated flagship delivery status and benefits evidence to the Performance Acceleration team, supporting regional governance check-ins and leadership updates.
- Support project mobilisation and market deployment, coordinating market feedback and learning from testing in selected markets so project leads can refine solutions and scale what works.
- Maintain stakeholder and communication plans, tracking deliverables against agreed quality and timing and flagging slippage to project leads.
- Help convert project plans into organised activity that supports change, capability building and sustained market adoption and implementation.
- Coordinate budget planning and financial reporting for assigned projects, including vendor onboarding, contracting, purchase orders and invoice tracking in line with Procurement and Finance processes.
- Monitor external supplier delivery against agreed scope, timing and budget, flagging variances promptly.
- Ensure project activity and documentation follow applicable laws and codes and relevant GSK/ViiV governance, compliance and records-management requirements.
- Maintain an effective operating rhythm and information flow across the Commercial Transformation Team.
- Identify opportunities to simplify delivery processes, reduce duplication and improve stakeholder experience, sharing practical learning across projects.
- Build effective working relationships across Global, Regional and LOC teams and act as a reliable coordination point for assigned flagship projects, adapting support as priorities and needs evolve.
