SPFx + React + Power Platform Developer

The SPFx + React + Power Platform Developer will be responsible for building, developing and extending SharePoint Online and Microsoft Teams solutions using SharePoint Framework (SPFx) and React, supported by Power Apps and Microsoft Graph integrations. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in SPFx and React development, along with the ability to build Power Apps solutions and integrate external data sources. The role requires technical expertise, problem-solving abilities and the ability to work independently while collaborating with technical and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop and maintain SharePoint Online and Microsoft Teams solutions using SPFx, React, TypeScript and JavaScript.
- Build reusable React components using hooks, state management and component lifecycle concepts.
- Develop and customize SharePoint sites, lists, libraries and site structures.
- Integrate Microsoft Graph API to retrieve and manage users, groups, sites, drives and calendar data.
- Develop and maintain Power Apps solutions, primarily Canvas Apps, with exposure to Model-driven Apps.
- Integrate REST APIs and external data sources into SharePoint solutions.
- Utilize PnPjs, SPFx Yeoman generator and related SharePoint development tools.
- Manage source code using Git and support CI/CD pipelines, preferably using Azure DevOps.
- Implement Microsoft 365 security, permissions and Azure AD app registrations.
- Configure SPFx property panes and dynamic data connections.
- Collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
- Ensure quality, performance, security and timely delivery of development projects.

Skills required

- 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in SPFx development using TypeScript and JavaScript.
- Strong proficiency in React:
- Experience with React hooks.
- Understanding of state management and component lifecycle.

- Solid understanding of SharePoint Online architecture:
- SharePoint lists, libraries and site structures.

- Working knowledge of Microsoft Graph API:
- Querying users and groups.
- Accessing sites, drives and calendar data.

- Experience with Power Apps:
- Canvas Apps preferred.
- Model-driven Apps experience is an added advantage.

- Familiarity with REST APIs and integrating external data sources into SharePoint solutions.
- Experience with PnPjs, SPFx Yeoman generator and related SharePoint development tooling.
- Proficiency in Git-based source control and CI/CD pipelines, preferably Azure DevOps.
- Good understanding of Microsoft 365 security model, permissions and Azure AD app registrations.

- Experience with Power Automate for workflow automation.
- Knowledge of Adaptive Cards and Microsoft Teams app development.
- Exposure to Azure services such as Functions, Logic Apps and Storage.
- Familiarity with SPFx property pane configuration and dynamic data connections.
