We are looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) for the position of Assistant Manager – Credit. This opportunity is suitable for fresh CA professionals interested in credit assessment, underwriting, financial analysis, and lending operations.
The role involves evaluating customer creditworthiness, conducting financial and cash flow analysis, reviewing property-related reports, and ensuring compliance throughout the loan approval and disbursement process.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Assess customer profiles and creditworthiness through financial evaluation and field visits.
Conduct credit underwriting and cash flow analysis to evaluate loan eligibility and repayment capacity.
Review legal, technical, and property valuation reports as part of the credit assessment process.
Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with internal policies before loan disbursement.
Monitor early-stage delinquencies and identify potential credit risks.
Coordinate with business teams to facilitate smooth loan processing and maintain turnaround time (TAT).
Address audit queries and ensure adherence to regulatory and internal compliance requirements.
Support effective credit decision-making while maintaining portfolio quality.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA); freshers are eligible.
Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and financial analysis.
Knowledge of credit assessment, underwriting, and cash flow analysis.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Good communication and coordination abilities.
Attention to detail and understanding of documentation and compliance requirements.
