About this role
Description
The AWS Infrastructure Energy Team (IET) is seeking a results-oriented Grid Delivery Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will be the single-threaded owner for delivering large-scale, high-voltage grid interconnection projects that connect the electrical grid to AWS data centres — directly enabling cloud capacity growth.
You will manage the full lifecycle of grid connection delivery, from initial power due diligence and grid application through design coordination, construction oversight, and energisation. You will work closely with utilities, transmission and distribution network operators, regulators, and local authorities to secure and deliver power infrastructure on time, on budget, and to specification. Internally, you will coordinate across design engineering, construction management, preconstruction, environmental, and real estate teams to ensure delivery to tight timelines.
This role requires strong commercial and technical energy expertise, the ability to navigate complex regulatory and utility landscapes, and a track record of delivering critical infrastructure under pressure. If you are energised by the intersection of energy infrastructure and technology and want to work on problems that directly enable the next generation of cloud services, we would like to hear from you.
