Job Summary:
Prepares test articles for test, including initial build and final teardown. Responsible for installing instrumentation into test articles per relevant engineering standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Assists in testing in accordance with established test procedures and methodology.
Prepare test articles and associated fixtures, rigs, and equipment for testing.
Demonstrates an understanding of the function of test equipment and the contribution of the test equipment to the validity of test results.
Demonstrates knowledge of the functioning of the product under test to assess the contribution of the product to the validity of the test results.
Performs test stand installation, troubleshooting and setups and the upkeep and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
Performs other duties as required.
1. Conduct / monitor engine tests as per test plan given by project manager 2. Preliminary level trouble shooting for the testcell / engine issues
3. Installation and removal of engine in test cell and test cell related modification
4. Work to support 24/7 operation
5. Assembly and dis- assembly of engine as per test requirement
6. Knowledge of test cell functions
7. Ensure good housekeeping in work area
8. Good communication with stakeholders
9. Actively participate in TBWS activities
10. Implementation & adherence QMS system
11.Should have good knowledge & experience in Engine Test cell operations & various parts of engines.
12.Knowledge of AVL – Puma test cells would be a great advantage
13.Should possess good communication & Excel skills
14.QMS, Safety practices, Risk Assessment preparation, LOTO
