Part-Time Veterinary Assistant - Alta Rancho Pet Hospital

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable, Part-Time Veterinary Assistant to support our veterinary team with basic patient handling and general hospital cleaning. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with animals, is comfortable handling dogs and cats, and is willing to help keep the hospital clean and organized.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist with restraining and handling patients during examinations.
- Clean and disinfect exam rooms and treatment areas.
- Perform end-of-day cleaning and general hospital cleanup.
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for patients, clients, and staff.
- Provide general support to the veterinary team as needed.

Qualifications

- Comfortable handling dogs and cats.
- Dependable, detail-oriented, and willing to perform cleaning duties.
- Able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Prior veterinary experience is preferred, but not required.

Additional Details

- Salary: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour, depending on experience
- Schedule: Part-time, Saturday coverage required.
