Aircraft Cleaner - Night Shift - Stansted Airport

Aviation Recruitment experts Optime Group are excited to be recruiting for Aircraft Cleaners to join our prestigious client at Stansted airport

What’s on offer:

- Rate of Pay: £13.62 per hour
- Shifts available: Night Shift 22:00 – 06:00
- Shift pattern: 5 on 3 off
- Weekly Pay (every Friday)
- Full training provided
- Temp to Perm (performance-based)

Key Duties:

- Cleaning Jet2 and Ryanair aircraft to a high standard, ensuring they are ready for their next flight.
- Working as part of a team to clean multiple aircraft throughout each night shift , including aircraft of various sizes and layouts.
- Carrying out a range of aircraft cleaning duties, including cleaning passenger seating areas, tray tables, overhead lockers, galleys, toilets and floors.
- Working efficiently in a fast-paced airport environment, meeting tight turnaround times between flights without compromising cleaning standards.
- Following all security procedures and regulations at London Stansted Airport .
- Operating cleaning equipment and using cleaning products safely, in accordance with training and health and safety guidelines.
- Maintaining a clean, safe and tidy working environment at all times.
- Supporting team members to ensure all allocated aircraft are cleaned and prepared within the required deadlines.

Roster examples:

The airport is operational 365 days a year, 7 days a week so full flexibility is required.

Requirements:

- Ability to work well in a team.
- Great work ethic.
- Excellent communication and interpretational skills.
- Must be over 18
- Previous airport and/or cleaning experience would be beneficial.

Please note: As this is an airport role, successful candidates must pass security checks in-line with CAA regulations. These checks include 5-year work and address history, DBS (must have no disqualifying criminal convictions), valid Right to Work.
