Senior Analyst | FSI Accounting Advisory (Assurance, Accounting & Reporting Advisory) | Warsaw

As a Senior Analyst in the FSI Accounting Advisory team, you will support the delivery of accounting and financial reporting advisory projects for Financial Institutions. Working closely with experienced team members, you will contribute to the execution of client engagements, perform technical accounting analyses, and assist in developing high-quality deliverables. This role offers an excellent opportunity to deepen your expertise in financial reporting, accounting regulations, and the financial services sector while working on a variety of challenging projects.

Key requirements include:
- 1-2 years of professional experience in FSI Accounting Advisory or FSI Audit with foundational knowledge of IFRS and/or Polish accounting regulations.
- Understanding of financial reporting principles , accounting standards , and an interest in developing expertise in financial instruments accounting and other complex accounting topics.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills , attention to detail, and the ability to work with complex datasets and accounting issues in a structured manner.
- Interest in the financial services sector , particularly banking, with a willingness to build industry knowledge.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within project teams and build positive working relationships with colleagues and clients.
- Proactive attitude, eagerness to learn , and willingness to take ownership of assigned tasks and responsibilities.
- Fluency in Polish and English , with good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to present findings clearly and professionally.

- Supporting the delivery of advisory projects across various areas, including the implementation of new accounting standards (IFRS), analysis of complex accounting matters (including financial instruments accounting), and financial reporting projects for financial sector clients.
- Participating in client meetings, workshops, and internal discussions to gather requirements, analyze accounting issues, and support the presentation of project outcomes.
- Conducting research, performing accounting assessments, and contributing to the development of practical solutions for clients' reporting and accounting challenges.
- Collaborating closely with senior team members and subject matter experts to support project execution and build technical expertise.
- Taking ownership of assigned workstreams, monitoring progress against deadlines, and ensuring the quality and accuracy of delivered outputs.
- Contributing to knowledge-sharing initiatives, preparing internal materials, and staying up to date with developments in accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and financial reporting practices.
