About this role
About the Role:
For our Global Headquarters in Luxembourg, we are looking for a Customer Service Specialist to join our Africa Levante team for a 12-month fixed-term contract, supporting customers across the Region and contributing to continuity in their operations and the correct service level.
In this role, you will act as an important point of contact for customers on logistics and service matters. Working with internal partners, you will help connect accurate order management with reliable physical deliveries.
Main Responsibilities:
Thanks to your support, customers will receive the information and documentation needed to keep their operations moving. You will create sales orders, proformas, and invoices, confirm shipments, and maintain accurate tracking files throughout the order-to-delivery process.
You will check and share shipping documentation ahead of container or truck arrivals to support smooth clearance. By monitoring shipments and containers each day, you will anticipate delivery risks and provide customers with clear updates when timing or service conditions change.
When an issue occurs, you will investigate its cause with shipping companies and Transportation Procurement colleagues. You will contact customers directly to understand their requirements, clarify concerns, and coordinate next steps with the relevant internal teams.
You will maintain customer master data and help ensure that commercial-route changes are correctly reflected. You will also monitor price accuracy in SAP, update regional pricing information, and coordinate with Finance on claims, contributing to a consistent and reliable customer experience.
About You:
You bring previous customer service experience, ideally gained in the fast-moving consumer goods sector. Experience in logistics, supply chain, or order-to-delivery activities will help you become operational quickly.
You are comfortable managing detailed order and shipment information and using MS Office, particularly Excel. Experience with SAP will support you in handling pricing, master data, and daily operational activities.
You communicate confidently in English and are ready to speak directly with customers when needed. French is a strong advantage when supporting customers in francophone markets.
Are you ready for this great challenge? Don’t miss the chance to apply!
