Job Summary

Cristian Pietoso Italian Restaurants is seeking an elite, highly adaptable Traveling Restaurant Manager. In this role, you will be an operational anchor, rotating across our distinct Italian concepts to support and fill in as one of the FOH managers whenever a location needs it.

Our portfolio represents the peak of authentic Italian hospitality in Cincinnati: from the contemporary energy of Via Vite on Fountain Square and the iconic, 30-year fine-dining legacy of Nicolas, to the classic, rustic charm of Forno Osteria & Bar in Hyde Park and Montgomery. When you enter one of our kitchens or dining rooms, you arent just a placeholder—you are there to preserve Cristian Pietoso's strict standard of culinary excellence, above and beyond hospitality, maximize profitability, and ensure an unforgettable guest experience.

Core Responsibilities

- Staff Management: Hire, train, schedule, mentor, and evaluate employees.

- Operations Oversight: Monitor daily service shifts, manage floor flow, and handle guest complaints or special requests.

- Inventory & Purchasing: Track stock levels, order food and supplies, negotiate with vendors, and control waste.

- Financial Performance: Monitor labor costs, track daily sales, assist with budgeting, and support profitability goals.

- Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to local sanitation, food handling, and safety regulations (such as ServSafe standards)

- Coverage and Support: Provide shift coverage while managers are off and support the restaurants when needed.

Qualifications

- Experience: 2+ years of hands-on experience in food service or hospitality. (Management Experience Preferred)

- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with Point-of-Sale (POS) systems, scheduling software, and basic inventory tracking.

- Interpersonal Skills: Strong leadership, verbal communication, conflict resolution, and stress-management capabilities.
