- Perform shaft alignment on main shaft and rudder stock lines, stern tube and strut bearing lines, and execute final alignment of pumps, motors, reduction gears, and main engines independently.
- Dismantle, repair, replace, and reassemble machinery; safely rig, lift, and set heavy equipment aboard vessels.
- Install below-deck auxiliary equipment including evaporators, heaters, pumps, condensers, and boilers and connect associated piping.
- Set benchmarks for main engines and marine gears; assist during dock and sea trials.
- Set up and operate boring bars, portable air drills, grinders, and rigging equipment.
- Install hydraulic equipment, perform light-off, and test to completion.

- Shaft alignment experience using dial indicators or laser alignment tools is a strong differentiator.
- Ability to read marine blueprints, specifications, manuals, and change orders.
- Comfort working in confined spaces, on stairs and ladders, crawling and crouching aboard vessels, and outdoors year-round in all weather conditions.
- Overtime and weekend availability as needed.
- Bilingual Spanish is an advantage given the team’s workforce composition.
