Position Overview
An established regional transportation operation is seeking qualified CDL-A drivers for dedicated freight assignments.
Drivers will transport dry van shipments across Texas and neighboring states. This position involves regularly scheduled regional routes, a combination of live freight appointments and drop-and-hook loads, and weekly home time.
Work Schedule & Route Information
- Approximately 2,500 miles per week
- Seven days out followed by a 34-hour home reset
- Weekend driving required
- Dedicated dry van freight
- Mix of live loading/unloading and drop-and-hook
Driver Compensation
Mileage Pay: $0.70 per mile
Estimated Weekly Earnings: $1,750
Weekly earnings are calculated using an estimated 2,500 dispatched miles. Actual compensation will depend on miles driven and freight availability.
Minimum Qualifications
Candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
- 3 months experience
- Ability to safely operate a tractor-trailer on regional routes
- Availability for weekend assignments
- Compliance with applicable DOT regulations
- Ability to satisfy company hiring and safety standards
