Nurse Residential Manager | Road to Home (2325)

Job Purpose:
- The Nurse Residential Manager at LIFESTREAM BEHAVIORAL CENTER is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the residential care facility. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality healthcare services to residents, while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations and standards. The position involves managing nursing staff, coordinating resident care, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to enhance the well-being and quality of life for all residents.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the residential care facility, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for residents.
- Manage and supervise nursing staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for residents, in collaboration with healthcare professionals and family members.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards, conducting regular audits and assessments.
- Coordinate with medical professionals to provide comprehensive healthcare services to residents.
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided, implementing improvements as necessary.
- Address and resolve any issues or concerns related to resident care and facility operations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident care, staff activities, and facility operations.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and professional development among staff.
- Liaise with families and external agencies to ensure effective communication and continuity of care for residents.

Qualifications

Required Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment.

Required Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Experience working in a residential or behavioral health setting is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing care plans for individuals with complex health needs.

Required Skills and Abilities:
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide nursing staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Proficient in electronic health records (EHR) systems and other healthcare management software.
- Ability to assess and respond to emergency situations with sound judgment and calmness.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.
- In-depth knowledge of state and federal regulations related to residential and behavioral health care.
- Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care to residents.
