About this role
Responsible for evaluating, performing, and supporting mechanical services related to the installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing and fire sprinkler systems. Duties range from routine preventative maintenance to advanced troubleshooting and emergency response. May serve as a team lead as assigned by the Supervisor.
- Journeyman Plumber’s License or Certified Sprinkler Fitter designation, or equivalent experience under a licensed technician
- Valid driver’s license
- Demonstrated journeyman-level experience with proven technical proficiency
- Completion of an accredited apprenticeship program for Plumber or Fire Sprinkler Fitter, or equivalent formal training
- Thorough knowledge of local, state, and national plumbing and mechanical codes
- Proficient in the use of trade tools, materials, mathematics, and safety regulations
- Ability to read and interpret schedules, blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, and manufacturer documentation
- Strong ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Experience with both mechanical and computer-controlled building systems
- Knowledge of organizational operations and objectives
- Effective verbal and interpersonal communication skills

- Extensive commercial plumbing experience
