About the role:
The Videography Supervisor will create the strategy and lead the efforts of video content production for TQL. They will oversee the department that creates a high volume of quality video content used for marketing, social media, and internal communication.
What you'll be doing:
- Oversee Video department, providing art and storytelling direction, as well as technical and workflow guidance
- Coach and develop direct reports
- Manage video project management system, assigning tasks to team and keeping a line of communication to stakeholders
- Oversee the regular reporting of video performance to specific teams and executive leadership
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing and business subject matter experts to add value through video
- Involvement in all elements of video creation including idea generation, competitive patterning, storyboarding, location and talent scouting, filming, re-shooting and editing
- Act as stakeholder in overall social media strategy, advising on how to integrate video content across several social platforms: LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook and TikTok
- Produce and edit all elements of video creation including idea generation, competitive patterning, storyboarding, script writing, location and talent scouting, filming, re-shooting and editing
- Create a breadth of video forms including b-roll, long-form narrative, sizzle reels, business and brand videos
- Support the Marketing Team when needed with regular company events and initiatives
- Other duties as assigned
What you need:
- Education Bachelor’s Degree in Videography, Film, Marketing or related field preferred, but not required
- Experience Minimum of 5 years of relevant video production and editing experience, along with a portfolio of professional work
- 1+ years of supervisory experience
- Expert at using professional video, audio, drone and lighting equipment
- Livestream experience a plus
- Commercial drone license a plus
- Expert at using editing and animation software including Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Lightroom, Photoshop and TikTok
- Flexible, willing to work outside of normal business hours when necessary and function as a contributing team member on activities and tasks that fall outside of your key responsibilities
