## Project Overview:

The Project is the e xpansion of an existing process facility located on a Nuclear site in Capenhurst , Cheshire (UK). The facility is being expanded in response to changing market dynamics and will provide a major component of UK’s nuclear energy security strategy.

The Project scope includes overseeing the delivery of FEED , co-ordinating the delivery of design deliverables to facilitate construction contrac t award and the implementation of enabling works .

The project office is located in Warrington.   The role will primarily be based at the project office however travel to the project site location ( Capenhurst ) will also be required.

## Job Summary:

We are looking for a Technical Integration and Interface Manager who has experience of managing a design process through to implementation. You should pos s ess good stakeholder communication skills and be able to support the manage ment of complex technical and practical issues. You will be expected to demonstrate experience of supporting a collaborati ve working environment through positive and transparent behaviours.

## Major Responsibilities:

In addition to good communication and problem-solving skills, the role will involve reporting to a Project Manager in the management of the services .

The candidate will be required to demonstrate knowledge and experience of : -

- The a ssur ance of a design process through to implementation
- Detailed understanding of managing design requirements and managing design decisions
- Managing the effective transfer of information , for example Technical Queries

## Responsibilities

- Managing design consultant schedules and performance , including report ing progress
- The implementation  and management of CDM regulations, roles, responsibilities and duties .
- Ownership of interface identification,  tracking and closure
- Facilitating co-ordination between project stakeholders and delivery partners
- Consistent maintenance of the interface  register and governance process
- Timely escalation and resolution of emerging issues
- Integrated view of technical delivery, reducing scope gaps, design  conflicts and schedule impacts
- A responsible attitude towards safety and security
- Ability to motivate self and teams, deal with conflict and enhance a collaborative delivery culture

## Required Knowledge and Skills:

- Nucclear or Energy sector experience would be of particular interest including design, construction and commissioning.
- Evidence of CDM training, accountability and implementation
