What You'll Do
As a PSS with MaineTouch, you'll work one-on-one with clients in their homes following an individualized care plan. Responsibilities include personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility assistance), light housekeeping, meal preparation, laundry, medication reminders, grocery shopping and errands, health observations and reporting, companionship and emotional support, and accurate care documentation in compliance with state and agency standards.
Who We're Looking For
- At least 18 years of age
- Current PSS certification, active or inactive CNA license, or willingness to enroll in PSS training within 60 days of hire and complete within 8 months
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Dependable, patient, and comfortable working independently in a home care setting
- Must not have substantiated findings on the Maine CNA/Direct Care Worker Registry
