How you’ll make an impact in this role
- Guide surgical teams as the primary clinical resource to deliver safe, seamless patient care throughout every procedure.
- Direct daily operating room workflows, staff schedules and surgical suite resources to keep cases running on time and at peak efficiency.
- Mentor and onboard new surgical associates to build their confidence, advance their clinical competencies and ensure long-term retention.
- Enforce clinical safety standards and regulatory policies to protect patients and maintain an exceptional standard of care.
- Manage vital surgical instrumentation and equipment availability so the care team always has the exact tools needed for patient success.
What minimum requirements you’ll need
Licensure / Certification / Registration
- Required Credential(s): BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Education
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required. OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
Additional Preferences:
- 1 year of OR nursing experience
- 1 year of charge nurse experience
