About this role
Responsible for providing quality patient care following established standards and practices under the supervision of a licensed physician. Collaborates and assists physician and floor nurses with daily coordination of patient care and patient access by handling prior authorizations, referrals, and medication refills. Also helps physician with patient flow, scheduling appointments, procedures and tests. Strong medication management experience preferred but not required.
Education - Graduate of an accredited LPN program.
Experience - Experience in hospital acute care setting preferred. Effective oral and written communication skills.
Training -
License - Current Louisiana License as LPN and BLS Certification
