Responsibilities
• Direct daily therapy operations, including physical, occupational, and speech therapy services
• Lead, mentor, and support rehabilitation team members to achieve quality clinical outcomes
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, documentation standards, and therapy best practices
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, case mix teams, and interdisciplinary team members to support resident care plans
• Monitor therapy utilization, productivity, quality measures, and operational performance
• Oversee therapy evaluations, treatment plans, and discharge planning processes
• Support survey readiness, quality improvement, and resident satisfaction initiatives
• Promote resident recovery, independence, and successful rehabilitation outcomes
Qualifications
- Current and unrestricted license as a Physical Therapist (PT) or (OT) Occupational Therapist in the state of practice.
- Graduate of an accredited therapy program.
- Leadership or management experience in a rehabilitation, skilled nursing, post-acute care, home health, or healthcare setting preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Therapy Director, Rehabilitation Director, Rehab Manager, or Therapy Program Manager.
- Strong knowledge of rehabilitation operations, regulatory compliance, and reimbursement models.
- Experience managing productivity, staffing, budgets, and quality outcomes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, conflict resolution, and team-building skills.
- Ability to effectively lead multidisciplinary rehabilitation teams in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
