Parking Manager

Job Summary:

The Valet Attendant is responsible for providing exceptional customer service by safely parking and retrieving vehicles for Members and guests in a professional and efficient manner. This role requires a courteous and friendly demeanor, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills to ensure a positive experience for members and guests.

Essential Job Duties:

1.         Greet Members and guests in a friendly and courteous manner as they drive into the

Porte Cochere.

2.         Assists Members and guests in/out of their vehicles, open doors, and assists with any belongings such as golf bags or luggage.

3.         Park automobiles for Members and guests. Keep keys in parking office.

5.         Parking protocol relating to parking and/or moving cars during events will be

decided and agreed upon before guests arrive.

6.         Summon and dispatch rideshares such as Ubers, Alto, Lyft, or taxis if requested.

7.         Provide travel information to Members and guests if requested.

8.         Work closely with Security to prevent unauthorized people from entering the Club.

9.         Issue and collect automobile claim tickets.

10.       Upon request clean Member vehicles; washing, waxing, drying, polishing, and vacuuming.

11.       Maintain clean and safe entrances, parking lots, valet area and carwash.

12.       Act as a Club liaison and direct Members and guests to desired area of club.

13.       Receive Fed-Ex and UPS shipments, contact departments for pick-up.

16.       Perform other appropriate tasks as assigned by the Valet Supervisor.

Qualifications

Requirements:

- Must have a valid, unexpired California driver’s license.

- Must have a clean driving record.

- Must be familiar with driving all types of cars (automatic and standard shift).

- Must wear clean, Club-supplied uniform and be well groomed.

- Must be able to work overtime.

- Must speak English clearly and be able to take direction in English.

- Follow parking procedures and directives outlined by Valet Supervisor.

- Available to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements :

- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.

- Ability to bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds.

- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including extreme temperatures, rain, wind, and other inclement weather situations.
