About this role
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Hydroponic Farming Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in the daily operations of our hydroponic farm, ensuring the health and productivity of our plants. This is a part-time position, perfect for someone passionate about sustainable agriculture and eager to learn more about hydroponic farming.
Assist in the setup and maintenance of hydroponic systems.
Monitor plant health and growth, including checking nutrient levels and pH balance.
Support quality control efforts.
Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of equipment and growing areas.
Help with planting, harvesting, and packaging of produce.
Record data on plant growth and system performance.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
Follow uniform and hygiene expectations.
Support the team with other farming-related tasks as needed.
Qualifications
Basic understanding of hydroponic farming principles (training will be provided).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Physical ability to perform farming tasks, including lifting and bending.
Good communication skills.
Good basic hygiene.
Passion for sustainable agriculture and willingness to learn.
