About the Role
As a Business Analyst within the Data & Analytics team, you will play a pivotal role in bridging business objectives with data-driven insights. You will collaborate with business units, customer journey teams, data scientists, and data engineers to identify and define strategic goals. Your work will involve breaking down complex problems, implementing creative solutions, and delivering actionable insights through advanced analytics and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities
- Define, develop, monitor, and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) aligned with the bank’s strategic objectives.
- Use tools such as SQL, PySpark, and Python to process and analyze large datasets efficiently.
- Develop custom scripts and code for data analysis and reporting in a big data environment.
- Create visually engaging dashboards and reports using Tableau or similar tools to deliver actionable insights.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and align on the North Star metric.
- Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical teams to ensure effective communication of data-driven insights.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across the big data ecosystem.
Secondary Responsibilities
- Apply machine learning and predictive analytics techniques to support business decisions.
- Leverage domain knowledge from the banking or financial services industry.
- Demonstrate proficiency in data storytelling and presentation to communicate insights effectively.
What We Are Looking For
Education
- Graduation in BSC or BCA or B.Tech.
Experience
- Experience in data analysis, reporting, and dashboard creation within a big data context.
- Exposure to machine learning and predictive analytics.
- Prior experience in the banking or financial services industry is preferred.
Skills and Attributes
- Strong command of SQL, PySpark, Python, and data visualization tools like Tableau.
- Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data integrity.
- Ability to manage multiple deliverables and track progress effectively.
