About this role
The Associate Accountant will be responsible for various accounting functions in the FP&A group. Which includes but is not limited to month-end closing, uploading journal entries, assisting the team with entries and reporting. Review inventory adjustments and invoice registers.
Primary Responsibilities include but not limited:
- Inventory Register review to include negative margins on a weekly basis
- Inventory Adjustment review on a weekly basis for all companies
- Journal entry uploads into TitanWeb
- Compile and book journal entries
- Updates excel profit and loss workbook
- Assist the team with researching P&L expenses
- Assist with balance sheet reconciliation
- Assist with AP Clearing account reconciliation
- Assist with Audit for bank and general audit
- Package and PDF financials for all companies
- Ad-Hoc projects
Qualifications
Qualifications and Skills:
- Accounting degree required or equivalent
- Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook experience (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables)
- Strong Problem-Solving skills and analytical skills
- Detail-oriented is a must
- Interpersonal communication skills
- Strong work ethic
- Attendance and punctuality are very important and must be available to work overtime if needed, especially during month-end close
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
