Skills for an Electronics Test Technician
Experience using spectrum analyzers and frequency meters. Ability to follow wiring diagrams and schematics. Hands-on electronics experience required. Excellent attendance and punctuality. Attention to detail. Ability to work efficiently independently and as part of a team. Attention to detail (Yes, we caught that we listed this twice. We hope you did too!). Associate’s degree (or equivalent) in a related technical field or minimum of 2 years of direct technical and industry-applicable experience.
Responsibilities of an Electronics Test Technician
Reading and interpreting test schedules, work orders, performance specifications, and schematics to test and diagnose subassemblies and components. Using specialized equipment, including signal generators, frequency meters, and power supply analyzers. Analyzing and interpreting technical test results. Diagnosing components and performing necessary or reworks.
