About this role

The Global E-Commerce Governance and Experience (GNE) team helps build a safe and trusted environment for businesses, creators, and communities. We develop policies that support responsible participation, detect and prevent fraud and abuse, and design the support experiences that resolve issues and strengthen trust.

We sit at the center of this e-commerce ecosystem, working closely with business, product, engineering, and legal teams, and applying AI to deliver trust and support at scale. Getting this right means protecting users while giving businesses and creators a platform they can grow on.

You will work on complex problems where user experience, safety, and support quality come together, helping shape safe and trusted interactions across the global e-commerce ecosystem.

- Drive the implementation of compliance strategies across the APAC region for sellers, products, and creators.
- Develop a deep understanding of APAC market regulations, business models, and the external environment, and translate high-level compliance requirements from Legal, Government Relations, and other functions into clear, executable business strategies and product solutions.
- Lead platform risk identification and tiered governance strategy design. Build systematic analytical frameworks and core monitoring metrics to accurately identify key business issues, and design risk detection rules and differentiated governance strategies based on multiple dimensions such as seller behavior, product characteristics, and content signals.
- Own end-to-end delivery of key regional initiatives. Lead highly complex cross-functional projects from problem definition, solution design, and resource coordination to pilot validation, scaled rollout, and post-launch review, ensuring critical issues are identified early, communicated effectively, and resolved in a timely manner.
- Drive cross-team collaboration and alignment. Establish strong working mechanisms with Engineering, Business Operations, Payments, Legal, Government Relations, Public Relations, and other teams, and effectively align stakeholders across different functional backgrounds, regional cultures, and business priorities to drive execution.
