About this role

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Payroll & Accounts Officer to join the Finance team at Grace Loves Lace – a world-renowned bridal brand celebrated for redefining bridal fashion with effortless elegance and sustainability at its core.

Ideally based in Dallas, Texas, we are also open to considering candidates located in other US cities, including Phoenix, Denver and Las Vegas.  The role offers a hybrid working arrangement, with a combination of working from one of our boutique locations and remotely from home.

This role will take ownership of our US payroll function while providing review and oversight of payroll across Australia, the UK and Canada. Alongside payroll, you'll support the wider Finance team with accounts payable, accounts receivable and bank reconciliations, making this a varied, hands-on role for someone who enjoys working across both payroll and general accounting.

Working closely with our CFO and wider Finance team based in Australia, you'll play an important role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring payroll and accounting processes run smoothly across our international business.

The position is ideally suited to someone comfortable working flexible hours, with a willingness to work later hours to provide regular overlap with our Australian Head Office. This will be particularly important when collaborating with the wider Finance team and supporting international payroll queries.

The standard working week is 5 days (40 hours), although we would also be open to considering someone seeking a 30-hour working week for the right candidate.

- Manage the payroll inbox as the first point of contact for employee payroll queries across all regions, ensuring enquiries are addressed promptly and professionally.

- Maintain accurate and confidential employee payroll records, including employment changes, leave balances and tax documentation.

- Prepare payroll journals, reconcile payroll clearing and liability accounts, and support month-end reporting.

- Support payroll audits, reporting requirements and ongoing improvements to payroll processes and controls.

Accounts & Reconciliations

- Process accounts payable transactions and complete regular account reconciliations.

- Process accounts receivable transactions and assist with regular AR reconciliations.

- Complete daily bank reconciliations across relevant accounts, investigating and resolving discrepancies.
