You will report to the VP, Finance Transformation.
The preferred location for this position is one of Metso’s biggest locations. We are happy to offer flexible working arrangements, including hybrid options.
Team you will belong to
Our Global Process Owner team owns, harmonizes and develops Metso's finance processes from end to end, working closely with our Business Areas, Market Areas, Global Business Services and Group Finance to develop Industry Benchmark Finance processes for Metso.
Our goal is to get the full value from our finance systems landscape and SAP S/4HANA platform through simpler, standardized processes and clear process and data governance, delivering measurable improvements in process quality, productivity, effectiveness, compliance and cost efficiency.
What you’ll bring
- Master's degree in finance, accounting or economics.
- Solid experience in General Ledger, period-end closing and group reporting under IFRS in a multinational company.
- Deep S/4HANA Finance (FI/CO) knowledge, enough to challenge solution design and turn process requirements into system changes.
- A proven track record of leading global harmonization or finance transformation with measurable results, for example an S/4HANA rollout
- The ability to lead without formal authority: influence senior stakeholders across Business Areas, Market Areas, Group Finance and Global Business Services (GBS), get decisions made and hold the line on global standards.
- Strong understanding of internal controls, audit requirements and master data / data quality governance.
- A data-driven approach: you define and use process KPIs to manage performance, not only to report it.
- Strategic and structured thinking: you can turn Industry Benchmark process ambition into a prioritized roadmap and business case.
- Excellent communication, facilitation and negotiation skills in English, including presenting to Finance leadership
What's in it for you
At Metso, you will combine meaningful work with opportunities to learn, grow, and make an impact in a supportive and inclusive environment. You’ll be part of a global team where collaboration, wellbeing, and continuous learning are part of everyday work.
