You will report to the Project Support Department Manager within Group Operations & Technology, Project Execution.

What you will be doing

As Senior Project Planner, you will play a key role in ensuring effective planning and execution of ROCKWOOL's large and mega CAPEX projects. Through close collaboration with project teams, you will help establish a strong planning culture and ensure transparency and progress throughout the project lifecycle.

More specifically, your key responsibilities will include:

- Supporting Project Managers in developing, maintaining and monitoring project schedules, identifying potential risks, delays and cost impacts at an early stage.
- Challenging project plans and ensuring that schedules, assumptions and project structures are realistic and aligned with project objectives.
- Driving a strong planning culture across project teams, promoting consistency, transparency and good data discipline.
- Acting as the key point of contact for site-based planners and contractors, ensuring alignment and coordination across project interfaces.
- Guiding and supporting Project Managers in using our newly implemented project management tool based on Planisware.
- Conducting ad-hoc analyses and providing planning insights to support informed project decisions.

The position involves approximately 30–50 days of annual travel, primarily to project sites and stakeholders across Europe and the US.

What you bring

We imagine that you have a solid background in project planning and a strong understanding of project execution within complex project environments.

Furthermore, we expect you to bring:

- At least 5 years of experience as a Project Planner or Project Manager, preferably within construction, renewable energy, industrial projects or similar industries.
- Experience developing and maintaining complex project schedules, establishing logical project structures and ensuring effective planning processes.
- A structured and analytical mindset, with a strong attention to detail and the ability to identify dependencies, risks and potential deviations.
- A proactive approach to project controls, understanding their importance in supporting project teams, maintaining transparency and ensuring on-time delivery.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to adapt your communication to different audiences and translate complex planning information into clear, actionable insights.
