The Warehouse Lead is responsible for overseeing warehouse activities, including shipping, receiving, distribution of finished goods, and inventory management, as well as managing freight forwarders and brokers and coordinating shipment schedules with them, while ensuring all activities are carried out safely and in compliance with company policies and procedures.

Responsabilidade / Role and Responsabilities

·       Oversees the secure and accurate loading, unloading, sorting, and movement of shipments, both manually and using appropriate equipment.

·       Picks and inspects shipments, comparing manifests, invoices, orders, and other records to verify shipment accuracy.

·       Manages inventory, including organizing, storing, retrieving, and maintaining accurate stock records.

·       Manages freight forwarders and brokers and coordinates shipment schedules with them to ensure the timely and efficient transportation of goods.

·       Performs quality checks on incoming and outgoing goods to ensure their condition and accuracy prior to signing off.

·       Ensures inventory transactions are accurately recorded, and goods are delivered to the production facility on time and in accordance with delivery schedules.

·       Resolves issues related to missing documentation, shipments, or deliveries and reports of discrepancies to the Supply Chain Manager.

·       Maintains the shipping and receiving areas, as well as the warehouse interior and exterior, ensuring areas are clean, organized, and goods are properly stored.

·       Reviews, updates, and maintains Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to warehouse operations, shipping, and receiving activities, ensuring they remain accurate and aligned with operational requirements and company procedures.

Qualificações e Requisitos / Qualifications and Education Requirements

·       High school diploma or equivalent.

·       Minimum of 3 years of relevant warehouse/logistics experience.

·       Knowledge of material handling equipment, including dollies, forklifts, hand trucks, jacks, pallet trucks, and wrapping machinery. A valid forklift license is preferred.

·       Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes, freight forwarding, customs documentation, shipping contracts, material safety data sheets, storage and handling requirements, standard operating procedures, and policy manuals.

·       Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to multitask while maintaining high safety standards.

·       Physically capable of standing, walking, bending, and stooping to load and unload orders throughout the work shift.

·       Detail-oriented and accuracy-focused, with strong problem-solving skills and a cooperative approach.

·       Ability to work on a flexible schedule, with a strong work ethic and positive team attitude.

·       Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
