Engineering Manager/ Service Delivery Manager

Key Responsibility Areas:

- Project & Technical Delivery: Own end-to-end delivery of software projects, ensuring timely execution, quality, scope management, and alignment with business objectives.
- Technical Leadership: Demonstrate a strong understanding of software development practices, .NET technologies, application architecture, and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Agile & Scrum Management: Drive Agile/Scrum practices, facilitate effective ceremonies, improve sprint planning and execution, and enhance team velocity and delivery predictability.
- Team Leadership & Accountability: Lead cross-functional engineering teams, establish clear ownership, remove blockers, and drive teams toward committed delivery outcomes.
- Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with client stakeholders, communicate delivery progress, manage expectations, and provide clear visibility into risks and dependencies.
- Risk & Dependency Management: Proactively identify delivery risks, manage dependencies, develop mitigation plans, and resolve escalations effectively.
- Continuous Improvement: Use delivery metrics, sprint performance, team velocity, and quality indicators to identify improvement opportunities and strengthen execution.
- Engineering Productivity & AI: Identify opportunities to leverage AI-enabled tools and engineering practices to improve developer productivity, code quality, testing efficiency, and delivery outcomes.
- Quality & Governance: Ensure adherence to engineering standards, delivery governance, release management processes, and continuous improvement practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications

- Strong experience in Project Delivery / Technical Delivery Management .
- Good understanding of .NET technologies , including C#, ASP.NET Core, .NET Core, and Web API.
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and Scrum practices .
- Solid understanding of software engineering principles and the end-to-end SDLC.
- Proven experience managing engineering teams and delivering software projects.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
- Experience with risk management, dependency tracking, issue resolution, and escalation management.
- Ability to track delivery metrics, improve team performance, and drive continuous improvement.
- Exposure to AI-powered development tools and engineering productivity improvements is an advantage.
