Today, we are one of the UK's leading civil engineering and tunnelling contractors, offering a wide range of construction and specialist services.Joseph Gallagher have an award winning reputation and has had the privilege to be part of some of the most complex infrastructure projects taking place today.The RoleWe are currently recruiting for a Crane Operator to join our team.Duties & ResponsibilitiesManipulate and depress of crane controlsResponsible for carrying out lifting operations in a safe manner, ensuring health and safety procedures are followedFollow lifting plans set out by the AP/Lifting SupervisorCarrying out regular inspections of the crane and carrying out any maintenance of equipmentExperienceExtensive experience operating CranesExperience working on major tunnelling projectsKnowledge of civil construction practices, lifting plant and equipmentKnowledge of maintenance, inspection, thorough examination and testing requirements for lifting equipment and accessoriesPlease note for this position you will be required to provide references.
