What You'll Do
- Handle Maintenance Requests: Complete routine repairs and respond promptly to maintenance needs throughout the community.
- Use Your Technical Skills: Assist with plumbing, electrical, HVAC, boilers, and other building systems.
- Prepare Resident Apartments: Ensure apartments are clean, safe, and ready for new residents.
- Promote Safety: Support inspections, follow building codes, and maintain safety standards.
- Work with Contractors: Coordinate with outside vendors and assist with larger repairs when needed.
- Support the Community: Provide friendly, helpful service to residents, families, and team members.
- Take Pride in the Details: Maintain clean, organized, and welcoming spaces throughout the community.
What We're Looking For
- Maintenance Experience: Previous experience with repairs, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or a related field preferred.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot issues and find practical solutions.
- Hands-On Approach: Willingness to take initiative, work independently, and manage a variety of maintenance tasks.
- People Skills: Friendly, respectful, and professional when working with residents, families, and team members.
- Flexible Availability: Ability to work varying daytime hours, including occasional evenings, weekends, or emergency maintenance needs.
