Commercial Pool Service Technician / Trainee
Paid Training Provided | Residential Pool & Mechanical Backgrounds Welcome
💰 Compensation: $20–$40/hour DOE + Performance Bonuses -- Candidates can make $70,000-$110,000/yr!
📍 Location: Onslow County, NC – Regional Travel Throughout NC, SC & VA
✈️ Travel Overview:
- Report daily to company headquarters in Onslow County, NC.
- Travel throughout NC, SC & VA to service commercial and government facilities.
- Overnight travel required throughout the workweek.
- Home most weekends.
- Company vehicle, fuel card, hotels, and per diem provided.
Pay is based on commercial pool service experience:
- Trainee / No Commercial Pool Experience: $20–$25/hour, with a 90-day performance review and opportunity for a pay increase.
- 1–3 Years Commercial Pool Experience: $25–$29/hour.
- 3–5 Years Commercial Pool Experience: $30–$35/hour.
- Senior Technician (6+ Years Commercial Pool Experience): $36–$40/hour.

Our client is open to training candidates with residential pool experience or transferable mechanical backgrounds in HVAC, automotive repair, refrigeration, plumbing, electrical, industrial maintenance, or equipment repair.
No commercial pool experience required! Candidates with the right hands-on experience and willingness to learn can start as a trainee, receiving paid manufacturer training and hands-on instruction. After 90 days, trainees will receive a performance review with an opportunity for a pay increase.
What You'll Do
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial pool equipment and mechanical systems.
- Perform preventative maintenance and equipment inspections.
- Install and service pumps, filters, heaters, chemical feed systems, and related equipment.
- Travel to commercial and government facilities throughout NC, SC & VA.
- Work independently or alongside experienced technicians depending on experience level.
- Complete service reports and communicate findings with customers and management.
What We're Looking For
- Commercial or residential swimming pool service experience is a plus.
- OR hands-on mechanical experience in HVAC, automotive, refrigeration, plumbing, electrical, industrial maintenance, or equipment repair.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Comfortable using hand tools and working on mechanical equipment.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Willingness to travel extensively throughout the Southeast, including overnight stays during the week.
- Dependable, motivated, and comfortable working in a hands-on field environment.
