LPN/skilled caregiver for 7-year-old boy
We are seeking a compassionate, skilled caregiver to assist a disabled child at home and at school. The client is blind, deaf, has limited mobility, and has a G-tube. Expected assistance to be provided to the client includes, but is not limited to:
- Incontinence care – changing and providing hygiene when needed
- Assisting with clothing change if needed
- Light bathing when needed, such as wiping the clients face or hands of food or drink spills
- G-tube feedings and tube care
- Engage in play, supervision, and conversation
- Regular communication to the clients family regarding daily activities and any changes in the clients status
Hours: This position is primarily required during day hours, with an immediate need for W/Th/Fri: 630AM to 6PM, gap coverage on W/Th/Fri: 730A-830AM and after school 330-430 PM.
Requirements: Licensure as LPN preferred. Previous care giving experience with pediatric clients preferred.
