About this role
Manage renewable generation projects from pre-bid and buyout through construction and final acceptance. After final acceptance, oversee operation of the renewable generation asset. Oversee the planning, design, licensing, construction, and start-up of new renewable energy power projects. Lead or provide support for various phases of new renewable energy development projects, including contract negotiations, review of emerging technologies, and issues related to environmental, land, and quality assurance. Ensure compliance with power purchase agreement and large generator interconnect agreements.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a technical field is preferred or equivalent work experience. (Typically, six years of related, progressive work experience would be needed for candidates applying for this position who do not possess a bachelor's degree.)
Eight years of related project management or renewable energy experience including three years supervisory management responsibilities.
Knowledge in new renewable/alternative energy power projects preferred.
