General Summary
Provides leadership and oversight of daily crisis intervention operations to ensure the delivery of safe, timely, and high-quality behavioral health services. Responsible for supervising staff, coordinating workflows, and supporting clinical decision-making while maintaining compliance with organizational standards. Contributes to improved patient outcomes through effective crisis assessment, intervention, and continuity of care.
Qualifications
Minimum Education:
- Bachelors Degree Required
- Masters Degree Preferred
Work Experience:
- 2 years Experience in Psychology or related field. Required
- 1 year Supervisory experience. Preferred
Driver's License Statement:
Must possess a valid driver's license in the current state of residence. Driving record must meet requirements established by WellSpan Risk Management.
Courses and Training:
- Emergency Behavioral Health Training within 180 days Required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Excellent human relations and oral/written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated conflict resolution and de-escalation skills with team members, patients, and community partners.
- Ability to provide effective coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback to support staff development and accountability.
- Ability to make sound clinical and operational decisions under pressure.
- Ability to analyze data, monitor performance metrics, and support quality improvement initiatives.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems and documentation standards.
