About the Role

Hammer Media is scaling fast, and the people we hire are critical to our success. As we continue to grow our media brands and financial products, we're looking for a Talent Acquisition Partner who can help us build exceptional teams and raise the bar with every hire.

Reporting to the Head of People, you'll own full-cycle recruiting across a diverse range of roles, from creative and content production to marketing, technology, and product. You'll partner closely with hiring managers to understand their needs, develop effective recruiting strategies, and identify high-performing talent who will thrive in our ambitious, high-ownership, fast-moving environment.

This isn't a role for someone who simply fills open positions. We're looking for a strategic, hands-on recruiter who knows how to find great people, assess talent beyond the resume, and move quickly without compromising quality. You'll play a key role in shaping our teams, strengthening our hiring processes, and ensuring we bring in people who will make a meaningful impact from day one.

What You'll Do:

- Run full-cycle recruiting across creative, content production, marketing, product, technology, and business operations roles, from sourcing and screening through offer negotiation and close
- Partner closely with hiring managers to understand business priorities, what success looks like, define role requirements, and develop targeted recruiting strategies
- Proactively identify, source, and engage exceptional talent through LinkedIn, industry networks, referrals, and creative sourcing strategies
- Optimize recruiting processes, interview structures, and tools, such as developing clear role scorecards, success criteria, and structured interview processes and best practice resources for hiring managers
- Challenge assumptions, raise the bar on talent quality, and ensure we're hiring for long-term success, not just filling seats
- Build, refine, and scale recruiting processes to support the company's rapid growth without compromising quality of hire
- Own recruiting workflows, applicant tracking, interview coordination, and offer processes to ensure an efficient and organized hiring experience
- Track and report on key recruiting metrics, including time-to-fill and and quality of hire, using data to identify opportunities for improvement

Requirements

- 4+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally in a high-growth startup or similarly fast-paced, high-performance environment
- You thrive in ambiguity and move quickly. You're comfortable navigating evolving roles, shifting priorities, and a business that's constantly growing and changing
- You're proactive, resourceful, and take full ownership of your work. You don't wait for direction; you identify problems, find solutions, and make things happen
- You're highly organized and results-driven, capable of managing multiple searches, competing priorities, and tight deadlines without sacrificing quality
- You have strong instincts for talent and potential, with the ability to assess candidates beyond their resumes and identify people who will thrive in our culture
