Job Purpose:
- The PT Valet Attendant at SELIG PARKING is responsible for providing exceptional customer service by efficiently parking and retrieving vehicles for guests. The role requires a professional demeanor, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while ensuring the safety and security of vehicles. Availability for this position must be Friday, Saturday and Sunday Open.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests promptly and courteously upon arrival and departure.
- Efficiently park and retrieve vehicles in a safe and timely manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized valet area.
- Handle guest inquiries and provide information regarding parking services.
- Ensure the security of guest vehicles and personal belongings.
- Follow all company policies and procedures related to parking operations.
- Assist in resolving any parking-related issues or concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of parked vehicles and keys.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient valet operations.
- Uphold SELIG PARKING's standards of service excellence at all times.
Qualifications
Required Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent
Required Experience:
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred
- Experience in a valet or parking attendant role is a plus
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with customers
- Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles safely
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Must have a valid drivers license with a clean driving record
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Attention to detail to ensure the security and proper handling of vehicles
