About this role
NurseCore is looking for a dependable CNA to help provide in-home patient care when coverage is needed. This is a per diem, as-needed position with no set schedule or guaranteed hours. Available shifts will vary based on patient needs and staffing requirements.
Availability:
- Although some weekday daytime shifts may be available, we’re looking for CNAs who can cover a broader range of shifts, especially weekday and weekend overnights.
Responsibilities May Include:
- Helping patient with their morning and evening routines
- Preparing meals and assisting with light household tasks
- Supporting patient transfers and mobility, including use of Hoyer lifts
- Providing personal care and assistance with hygiene
- Completing occasional errands as needed
- Remaining attentive and available throughout the shift to respond promptly to patient's needs and requests.
- Assisting with additional duties based on the patient care needs
Requirements:
- At least one year of CNA or HHA experience
- Valid CNA license in the State of Nevada
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current, BLS hands-on CPR certification in compliance with AHA
- Negative TB test within the last 12 months
- Successful background check
