About this role
The Reg Nurse CC PRN is responsible for providing professional nursing for patients following established standards and practices. Assists physicians and staff with the daily coordination of patient care and patient access. Coordinates patient flow, schedules appointments, procedures, tests and referrals. May serve as preceptor for clinical staff. Relies on experience and judgment to accomplish responsibilities. Works under minimal supervision. Creativity is expected to perform job. May lead and direct the work of others within scope of practice.
Minimum 2 years experience in an operating room setting; preferably in an ambulatory surgery center. Additional specialty experience may be required as per facility practices(i.e. Pediatric, GI, etc)
Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
Active RN license as required by state of employment. Required valid BCLS Certification upon employment. online certification not acceptable. ACLS and PALS required within 6 months
