Job Description
Position Summary
Twin Creeks Country Club is seeking an energetic, reliable, and customer-focused Fitness Attendant to join our Health & Wellness team. The ideal candidate is passionate about health and wellness, enjoys interacting with members, and is committed to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming fitness environment. This position requires weekend availability.
Responsibilities
- Greet members and guests, providing a welcoming and professional experience.
- Monitor the fitness center to ensure a clean, organized, and safe environment.
- Clean and sanitize fitness equipment, surfaces, and common areas throughout each shift.
- Assist members with general questions regarding fitness center equipment, amenities, and Club programs.
- Perform routine walkthroughs to ensure equipment is properly maintained and supplies are stocked.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures, depending on scheduled shifts.
- Report equipment maintenance needs, safety concerns, or facility issues to management.
- Build positive relationships with members and provide exceptional customer service.
- Share information about available fitness classes, wellness programs, and Club amenities.
- Assist with general fitness center operations and additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a fitness center, hospitality, or customer service environment preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable, punctual, professional, and detail-oriented.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the facility.
- Must be available to work weekends.
Preferred Skills
- CPR/AED and First Aid certification preferred, or willingness to obtain upon employment.
- Experience working in a private club, fitness center, or hospitality environment.
- General familiarity with fitness equipment and gym operations.
- Strong customer service skills and a proactive approach to member needs.
- Ability to multitask and maintain an organized environment.
