At Apple, extraordinary people come together to do their life’s best work. Together, we create products and experiences people once couldn’t have imagined, and now can’t imagine living without.

Our Payment Network Partnerships team manages and builds partnerships with payment card networks globally for Apple, including American Express, Mastercard and Visa.

We are seeking a Business Development & Partnership Manager to support Apple Pay and Apple Wallet growth globally, and to support Apple as a merchant from a payment network perspective. The scope encompasses current and future payment products and features (including alternative payments and digital wallets), the evolving payment card ecosystem (including card issuing, card acceptance, merchant acquiring, card processing, risk management, and card operations), adjacent products and services (e.g. transit, identity), the regulatory environment, and supporting Apple products and services that involve payment cards.

This individual contributor business development role is external-facing with partners in the payment ecosystem and also requires broad internal engagement across functions and across Apple Pay markets globally.

The core responsibility for this role is to work across Apple and external partners to develop a roadmap that delivers on business priorities and enhances Apple Pay. This will involve understanding Apple’s product roadmaps and business priorities, analyzing markets and the competitive landscape, assessing growth opportunities, aligning on priorities and business plans, and managing and coordinating large initiatives or investigations.

Success in this role requires the ability to initiate and build strong and productive relationships at both senior leadership and operational levels. It also requires commercial judgement, analytical rigor, the ability to navigate complexity, and a bias for action.

Ability to work with ambiguity and to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience building and presenting executive-level business cases.
Deep understanding and passion for payments, emerging technology and web products.
