JOB SUMMARY
The Non-Medical Assistant Manager supports the manager in overseeing the daily operations of the non-medical homecare department. This position plays a key role in ensuring consistent, reliable care for clients by coordinating staffing, supporting caregiver management, resolving operational issues, assisting with recruitment and onboarding, and maintaining strong communication with clients, caregivers, and office staff.
The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, proactive and comfortable making decisions in a fast-paced environment. This individual must be able to solve problems independently, respond effectively to unexpected staffing challenges, and maintain continuity of services when other team members are unavailable. They will also serve as a key operational backup to the scheduler and caregiver manager and helps ensure that client services continue without interruption.
This position requires participating in a rotating on-call schedule, including weekends and holidays
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
Previous experience in homecare, senior services, healthcare administration, staffing, scheduling, or a related field
Preferred management or leadership experience with supervisory capabilities Experience with caregiver recruitment, interviewing, onboarding, and performance management
Knowledge of Colorado homecare requirements and non-medical caregiver responsibilities
Must have strong communication skills when conversing with employees and team members.
Must be able to problem solve and defuse emotionally charged situations.
Must have an upbeat, approachable attitude and demeanor.
Must be organized and self-motivated to stay on top of assigned tasks.
Must learn to manage time appropriately as duties continuously arrive.
Must be able to adapt to unexpected situations and adjust them in your daily schedule.
High school diploma or equivalent
