In this position...

The Senior Specialist, Learning and Development designs, develops, coordinates, and evaluates learning solutions that support employee and business performance. Working under general direction, this role partners with stakeholders and subject-matter experts to identify learning needs, develop engaging and innovative experiences, coordinate delivery, and assess program effectiveness. The Senior Specialist also supports the learning management system, maintains accurate training records, and applies current learning and instructional design practices.

You’ll have…

- Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree (preferred) in Instructional Design, Learning Technology, Learning & Development, Organizational Development, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience.
- Minimum 5 years of work experience with a Master’s degree or 8 years of work experience with a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Learning and Development, or a related field.
- Experience with authoring tools such as Articulate Rise, Storyline, Canva, or Camtasia
- Instructional design and adult learning principles
- Strong writing, editing, and organizational skills
- Project planning and project management
- Creative thinking and problem-solving
- Stakeholder communication and collaboration
- Learning evaluation and analytical skills
- Experience using a learning management system (LMS)

Even better, you may have...

- APTD, CPTD, CPT, CPTM, or another relevant learning and development credential (Preferred)
- Prosci Change Management Certification, CCMP, or a comparable change management credential (Preferred)
- Facilitation, presentation, and consultative skills
- AI-enabled learning design and content development
- Experience administering an LMS
- Change management and human performance improvement expertise

Work Requirements:

Involves occasional (defined as one-third or less of the time) lifting of no more than 10 pounds at a time. Work is performed primarily in a seated position and entails no significant stooping, standing, climbing, walking, etc. Many sedentary jobs require good use of the hands and fingers for repetitive hand-finger actions. Working conditions occur within low to moderate noise levels related to the use of standard office or classroom equipment.

This position is a salary grade 8 and ranges from $99,100-$166,200.
Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidate's skills and experience, and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope, responsibility and competitive market value.
Internal applicants: moving into this role may result in an adjustment to your current compensation based on the posted pay range for this role, taking into consideration your qualifications and other relevant factors.
